Each year, friends of Heartbeat of Toledo gather together in support of the mission in a variety of fun ways. Join us for one of our upcoming events!

June 17th: Savage Golf Classic

Looking for a great gift for Fathers Day? This might just fit the bill! Savage and Associates established the Savage Foundation in 2003 to help support nonprofit organizations throughout northwest Ohio. Since then, Savage has raised more than $1 million for local charities. Their premiere event, the Savage Foundation Golf Classic, has become one of the most successful single-day charity golf outings in the area.

The next tournament is being held on June 17, 2019, at Stone Oak Country Club. Your participation in the Savage Foundation Golf Classic helps raise support for Heartbeat of Toledo, along with 3 other local charities. As always, we truly appreciate your support. Heartbeat of Toledo holds an annual banquet each spring as our major fundraiser of the year. Our next banquet will be held in Spring of 2020. Check back later in the year for more info

We accept nominations for two awards: the Dr. John Hillabrand and Lore Maier Life Champion Award, and the Esther Applegate Volunteer Award, beginning in January of each year. The Life Champion Award recognizes someone who has contributed to the pro-life movement in an exceptional way. The award is named for Heartbeat of Toledo's founders who also began Heartbeat International and were widely recognized in the pro-life movement. The Volunteer Award recognizes a current Heartbeat volunteer who has shown long-term dedication to the mission for life at Heartbeat. This award is named for a founding volunteer of Heartbeat. The awards are presented at Heartbeat's Annual Banquet each spring.

Our annual Baby Bottle program is a great opportunity for your church or school to perform service for the community and to help local mothers and babies. Baby bottles are distributed at your church (or other location) and members are asked to take them home, fill them with loose change (or bills or checks) and return it after a two-week period. If your church/organization is interested in participating, please contact Cory Payne at cpayne@heartbeatoftoledo.org.
